1. Introduction

Welcome to PharmaTouch, the Self-Service Pharmacy Kiosk Ordering Management System developed for Kailaiza Drugstore Corporation. This system is designed to streamline the medicine ordering process and enhance customer experience through digital innovation.

By using the PharmaTouch kiosk system, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before placing any orders through the kiosk.

2. System Usage and Access

PharmaTouch is an in-store self-service kiosk system available during Kailaiza Drugstore's operating hours: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM on weekdays and 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM on weekends.

Users of the system agree to:

• Use the kiosk for legitimate pharmacy transactions only
• Provide accurate information when placing orders
• Not attempt to manipulate, damage, or tamper with the kiosk hardware or software
• Not use the system for unauthorized commercial purposes
• Follow all on-screen instructions and pharmacy staff guidance

3. Medicine Ordering Process

3.1 Over-the-Counter (OTC) Medicines

The PharmaTouch kiosk allows customers to independently browse and order over-the-counter medicines. After selecting items, you will receive a printed receipt with an order number to present at the cashier counter for payment and collection.

3.2 Prescription Medicines

While prescription medicines are displayed in the kiosk for browsing purposes, they cannot be ordered directly through the system. If you select a prescription medicine, the system will display a notification requiring you to:

• Proceed to the pharmacy counter
• Present a valid prescription from a licensed healthcare provider
• Complete the purchase with assistance from pharmacy staff or the licensed pharmacist

3.3 Order Confirmation

All orders placed through the kiosk are subject to availability and verification by pharmacy staff. Kailaiza Drugstore reserves the right to refuse or cancel orders that do not comply with pharmacy regulations or these terms.

4. Payment Terms

The PharmaTouch kiosk does not process payments directly. All payments must be completed at the cashier counter using one of the following methods:

• Cash payment
• QR code-based e-wallet payments (e.g., GCash) processed manually by staff

The kiosk allows you to indicate your preferred payment method, but the actual transaction is handled separately at the cashier. You must present your printed receipt with the order number to complete the payment and collect your medicines.

5. Product Information and Accuracy

While we strive to ensure that all product information displayed on the PharmaTouch kiosk including medicine names, descriptions, prices, and availability is accurate and up-to-date, Kailaiza Drugstore does not guarantee that:

• All information is error-free or complete
• Products shown as available are currently in stock
• Pricing information is free from technical errors

In case of discrepancies, the pharmacy staff's determination shall be final. We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions and to update information at any time without prior notice.

6. User Responsibilities and Conduct

As a user of the PharmaTouch system, you agree to:

• Read and understand all medicine labels and product information before ordering
• Consult with a pharmacist if you have questions about medication use, interactions, or side effects
• Use medicines only as directed by a healthcare professional
• Verify your order details on the printed receipt before proceeding to payment
• Report any system errors or discrepancies to pharmacy staff immediately
• Not misuse or abuse the self-service kiosk in any way

7. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. The PharmaTouch system collects transaction data, including order details and timestamps, to support inventory management and improve service quality. This information is stored securely and used only for operational purposes.

We do not collect personally identifiable information through the kiosk unless you voluntarily provide it. Any data collected is handled in accordance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) and our Privacy Policy.

8. System Limitations and Service Interruptions

• Force majeure events beyond our control

During system downtime, customers are encouraged to place orders directly with pharmacy staff at the counter. Kailaiza Drugstore is not liable for any inconvenience caused by service interruptions.

The PharmaTouch kiosk is a transactional tool and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations. Users are solely responsible for:

• Ensuring they are ordering the correct medication
• Understanding dosage instructions and potential side effects
• Consulting with healthcare professionals before using any medication
• Reading all product labels and warnings carefully

Kailaiza Drugstore and the PharmaTouch system are not responsible for any adverse reactions, health complications, or consequences resulting from medication use. Always seek professional medical advice when in doubt.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kailaiza Drugstore Corporation and the developers of PharmaTouch shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:

• Use or inability to use the kiosk system
• System errors, data loss, or technical malfunctions
• Inaccurate product information or pricing errors
• Unauthorized access or system breaches
• Service interruptions or delays
• Reliance on information provided through the system

Our total liability for any claim related to the use of PharmaTouch shall not exceed the value of the specific transaction in question.

PharmaTouch, including its software, interface design, features, and content, is the intellectual property of its developers (Sapico, Mary Angielyn C., Anda, Jierhon Ryx B., and Traboco, Michaella D.) and Kailaiza Drugstore Corporation.

All rights are reserved. Users may not reproduce, distribute, modify, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from any part of the system without express written permission from the copyright holders.

12. Compliance with Pharmacy Laws and Regulations

The operation of PharmaTouch complies with the Pharmacy Law (Republic Act No. 10918) and regulations set forth by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) of the Philippines. All transactions facilitated through the kiosk are subject to:

• Verification and approval by a licensed pharmacist
• Compliance with prescription requirements for regulated medicines
• Adherence to proper dispensing protocols and safety standards

Users must comply with all applicable laws and regulations when using the system and purchasing medicines.

13. Modifications to Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes arising from the use of the PharmaTouch system shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Candelaria, Quezon.
